Scott MacHaffie's Biography

I have been a professional programmer for 20 years, and I learned to program 7 years before that. I have an MS in Computer Science from Portland State Univeristy and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Washington. I have focused on human-computer interactions and GUI design throughout my career.

I wrote Palm and Treo Hacks the year our twin boys were born. Much of it was written at 3 am, during feedings.

I used to teach aikido--now I'm teaching kiatsu, but I may resume teaching aikido in the next few years, when the boys are old enough to start training.
